Janet Greenhut, MD, MPH

Dr. Janet Greenhut graduated from Wayne State University Medical School in Detroit, where she also completed her internship. She served in the Public Health Service at a rural clinic in South Carolina prior to her residency in preventive medicine at Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health.  At the completion of her residency, Dr. Greenhut worked at St. Luke Health Center in Baltimore, where she practiced with psychotherapists, spiritual directors, and complementary practitioners.

Since moving to Ann Arbor, Dr. Greenhut worked as medical consultant for HealthMedia (later Johnson & Johnson Health and Wellness Solutions) for 16 years contributing to the creation of digital programs to help patients with chronic illnesses lead more meaningful and satisfying lives. These programs included modules for people with diabetes, heart disease, chronic pain, multiple sclerosis, and depression, and explored with patients issues of quality of life, communication with health care providers, and what gives their life meaning.

Dr. Greenhut is currently Medical Director for IndividuALLytics, Inc., which provides precision health care to patients with chronic illnesses in collaboration with their primary care doctors through the IAQ HealthQuest program (individuallytics.com).

Dr. Greenhut co-authored The Wholeness Handbook: Care of Body, Mind, and Spirit for Optimal Health, and has written a number of articles on health and healing.
